Central florida expressway

D3Energy was excited to showcase the capabilities and potential of floating solar for Central Florida Expressway Authority.  Utilizing a retention pond along their highway, this PV system is a complete microgrid.  Coupled with batteries, the PV + Storage powers CFX's emergency digital sign 24/7.  In case of a power outage (i.e. hurricane), this system will continue to power the sign so that CFX can communicate with travelers in any emergency situation.
