City of Lima Twin Lakes Reservoir

Floating solar panels installed on a large rectangular water body.

Project Overview

D3Energy's third Ohio project in three years, the Twin Lakes Reservoir floating solar array delivers clean power directly to the City of Lima's drinking water treatment plant. Sited on the city's primary drinking water source, this 2MW FPV system conserves valuable land, helps reduce evaporation, and supports stable water temperatures at the reservoir. The project was recognized by Power A Clean Future Ohio with the Clean Energy Innovator Award.
