Duke Energy - Hines Energy Complex

Project Overview

Duke Energy, one of the largest utilities in the United States now has the first floating PV system on a cooling pond in the country.  This project is incredibly unique as it sits on the 1,200-acre cooling pond of Duke's 2,000+MW power plant, the Hines Energy Complex.  This is the second floating PV project that D3Energy has completed for Duke Energy, the first being Fort Liberty.
