Fetzer Winery - Bonterra Estates

Floating solar panels on a lake with mountains in the background.

Project Overview

D3Energy partnered with Fetzer Winery and Bonterra Estates — the B-Corp certified vineyard in Hopland — to deliver the largest floating solar project in the U.S. wine industry to date. Sited on an agricultural irrigation pond, this FPV system generates clean, reliable power without taking productive vineyard acreage out of rotation, helping the vineyard reduce energy costs while reinforcing Fetzer and Bonterra's long-standing commitment to organic, regenerative farming.
