Orlando International Airport

Project Overview

The floating solar array at OIA blends art and energy with a unique design in the shape of the airport's logo, and with a lighting system that illuminates the array at night.  D3Energy used a combination of monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels to give the color differentiation to create the logo's "O" look.  This system will be owned by Orlando Utilities and will power the brand new airport terminal.

  • Number of panels: 360
  • Inverter type: String
